Trip Schedule For 2025/26

This is our trip schedule for 2025/26, including Autumn and Winter. There will also be rope skills evenings and weekly socials throughout the year. A short planning meeting runs on the Thursday evening before each trip, where you will have a chance to discuss routes.

Freshers’ Trip

  • Lake District: 27th or 28th September
    • An opportunity to try the sport on an easier one-day outing and meet some of our members.

Autumn

  • Wales: 11th-12th October
  • Lake District: 25th-26th October
  • Lake District: 15th-16th November
  • Wales: 29th-30th November

Winter skills

  • Cairngorms: 30th January – 1st February
    • Attendance is mandatory to come on future Winter trips

Winter

  • Glencoe: 13th – 15th February
  • Glencoe: 27th February – 1st March
  • Cairngorms: 13th – 15th March

Summer

Summer trips are a great time to bag some dry trad climbs.

We also try to run an international trip to a destination further afield, such as the Alps or Morocco. This will be interest-dependent.

Attendance of the Winter Skills trip is mandatory to join us on other Winter trips (unless evidence of previous winter mountaineering experience can be shown).
However, all of our autumn trips usually have newcomers, so please come along even if you missed the Fresher’s Trip! No experience is necessary for autumn trips.
